Model Railroading > Digitrax help requestedDate: 05/20/20 18:26 Digitrax help requested Author: yooperfan I have a small layout with a DB150 command station and one DT400 throttle. Today I was operating my best running loco, a Proto 2000 GP9 with a DH 121 decoder I had installed, and all was well until I unplugged the throttle and then plugged it in again. The locomotive took off at full speed and the throttle seemed to have no effect. I finally reprogrammed the thing but it still would not run at anything other than medium speed or faster. In an effort to fully "fix" it I then started messing with the acceleration and deceleration CV's, which I had never done before. The result is the locomotive now takes a long time to start, stop, and reverse which, although maybe more prototypical, is excruciating to me when switching with it.
Is there a way to get the decoder back to what it was before I unplugged the throttle this afternoon? In other words back to when I first bought it. Thank you for any thoughts. If you do that remember that the address will be 3. Sometimes it has to be done, you would be no worse off than when you bought it. Good luck. This will return the loco back to address "03" and then you can reprogram it to the number of your choosing. Hope this helps.
