New Rapido Dining Car question.

I was wondering if the roofs are removable on these cars?

Hi,

We have had our undecorated car for about 2 weeks, the roof does not come off, If it did it would've made painting it a little easier... The box has a diagram on how to take it off, I might go take some photos so you can see. The cars are amazing though,

I saw one of those cars on the net with the roof off, might have been a Rapido or MR piece.
The interiors are supposed to be fantastic!

Got mine love the detail and paint it the NP one now if they would only do the observation in NP. Rumor some time back that Walthers was going to do theres in NP but nothing since.

Hi guys,

I've been away a while... working on my layout, mostly! :-D

The roof and body are one piece. To remove the body, unscrew the coupler box screws, remove the coupler boxes, and wiggle off the body.

It's very easy.
