Have you tried to contact Intermountain?
I would start there, They have always helped me in a reasonable time & be patient in might take a week or 2.

Interesting.  I've found Intermountain to be less than helpful with parts.  I've had a set of handrails on order for three years and they never respond to emails.  Last contact I had from them stated that they didn't have any and won't until they make a new model.  Sad.

I called Intermountain maybe 2 weeks ago, the female on the other end advised, that they were no longer selling any parts! Warranty work only!
With the mess we are all dealing with these days,  I was putting a parts list together for Intermountain, mostly broken crappie handrails!  I have some GE's with broken HR that have not been out the box, but because of age, it was a no go!

So that means instead of them sending you the bearings or hand rails you have to send the whole engine back to have the parts put on?  Seems like the new policy is like curing the patient with a hammer instead of a bandaid.

Or if you wait too long, that.

Waiting to long was not the issue, nor can I or others see what they will need next week!

For me the rotating bearing caps are a unneeded novelty. Just more to go wrong and loose. IM railings are and always have been garbage. Why they continue with this material is beyond me.
MTH has the best railings. Very durable.

I have a GEVO with broken cab handrail. I wonder if another manufacturer handrails can fit Intermountain. Earl...
