A "what if" locomotive project
Author: skidroe

After building 6 "live steamers", my boiler welder retired, I am now forced to build "electric battery powered" steamer models.
My first, was a 2" scale 7 1/2" gauge  narrow gauge "H K Porter" 2-4-2 powered by a pair of Cannonball Models commonwealth tender trucks .
After running it for a year, I decided to convert it into  "cab forward" locomotive with the following results.

Interesting looking cab-forward arrangement, well done.

Terrific!  Did you find a need to pressurize the tank to make the power get up to the firebox?

Being that it's a battery-electric, probably not. Reread the first post of the thread.

The pressurized tank was a joke; that is why I said "power"...
