Model Railroading > A "what if" locomotive projectDate: 06/28/20 14:20 A "what if" locomotive project Author: skidroe After building 6 "live steamers", my boiler welder retired, I am now forced to build "electric battery powered" steamer models.
My first, was a 2" scale 7 1/2" gauge narrow gauge "H K Porter" 2-4-2 powered by a pair of Cannonball Models commonwealth tender trucks . After running it for a year, I decided to convert it into "cab forward" locomotive with the following results.
