Model Railroading > Close call during wicked weatherDate: 09/08/20 18:06 Close call during wicked weather Author: WrongWayMurphy The MKT runs right through the heart of tornado alley, so this scene should come as no surprise to many.
This on the T&P/MKT joint track at Argyle, Tex. in 2007. Date: 09/08/20 18:22 Re: Close call during wicked weather Author: TAW That's cool, but better would be open up the box for a structure kit and pour it out next to the track.

Date: 09/09/20 11:03 Re: Close call during wicked weather Author: CM1 Is there a speed restriction when moving by the structure?

Would be cool to have a flying monkey or a wicked witch flagging the close clearance. -John Date: 09/09/20 14:40 Re: Close call during wicked weather Author: WrongWayMurphy santafedan Wrote:

Yes, Alexander, I was thinking the shingles were vinyl, but rubber may be the material. it is some kind of plyable material anyway. As far as speed restrictions, the train is TheStocker, a red ball Kansas City to Fort Worth livestock movement, and there is no provision for, slowing down. Texans need their beef. |
