Boston & Maine #7 Lowell Junction

As we follow around Walt's B&M layout we get to Lowell Junction.  It is a busy place with 6 places to do switching work.  It is also the junction to Ayre.
The tunnel at the end of the first photo goes to a lower level-Lowell where there are storage tracks as there are at Boston.

The local has a lot of work to do in a restricted space.

I like the typical milk cars once found in that area as well as the older style paint/lettering on the caboose.

GUYS....A great spot for generating traffic, lots of switching and interesting track work,a few hours working switching for the local at certain days, this kind of local area is a must for all model railroads...
