Thanks Jim Date: 10/18/20 14:33 Re: Walthers Valley Growers Author: JDLX Jim- It's a grain elevator. This site has a pretty good explanation of how these work along with a diagram:

There should be a pipe leading down from the gerber in the tall structure. As well as a buried conveyer connecting to the lift machinery in the main building. The bin might be divided in which case there would be multiple pipes. Date: 10/19/20 08:44 Re: Walthers Valley Growers Author: spsunset Thanks . I thought there might be a pipe missing.
I think it would be hard to do all under ground. Jim Date: 10/19/20 11:17 Re: Walthers Valley Growers Author: spsunset I still don't understand that it has no access, only opening is square vent under eve at each end of crib.
Could have and access tunnel ,but why the expense? .I think I'll not use it. Thanks for all your help. Date: 10/19/20 15:23 Re: Walthers Valley Growers Author: Lighter Here's a Canadian grain elevator off Wikipedia. Clearly shows the pipe.
