SP&S #700 crossing Whiskey Creek
Author: funnelfan

SP&S #700 marches out over the Whiskey Creek Trestle with a short train of GN cars from a connection at Spokane. This is the new BLI model on the River City Modeler's layout in Spokane.

Call me a hater, but that stinky smoke generator just ruins it for me.
Instantly makes a well detailed model in to a toy.
But that's just my opinion.

I didn't consider myself a fan of the smoke until I got this loco. But I actually like it. It's much better than it looks on the video, especially when you start a train moving. It's controlled by the decoder and mimics the real deal. But you do need a large space and maybe will need to shut off the smoke detectors when running. But it's actually pretty cool when viewed in real life.

Call me negative too, having been around working steam locos and cigarette smokers, it looks more like the latter...  But thanks for sharing Ted. That certainly is a nice looking loco. I hope it serves you better and longer than most BLI locos. According to reports here, they aren't very reliable.
