Your inquiry brings to mind an absence in the hobby, a place where people could post "wanted" listings.
Does anyone know of such a web site?
It happens informally here on TO, and maybe elsewhere but I don't know about any.
I occasionally wish for some detail parts, a specific older kit or built car, or a back issue.
