Proto 2000 replacement shells
Author: NYCStL776

I recently acquired a pair of bare chassis for P2K ALCo PA-1s, does anyone know where i might find shells for the two engines? They are beautiful runners, but are not really usable without shells. Specifically i am looking for NKP shells, but would be happy with almost any road. Thanks

Shells occasionally surface on that well-known auction site. I don't know if they are adaptable to the P2K chassis, but there are several Athearn shells out there right now.

It's going to be a real crap shoot to find just the shells you want. You'd have better luck buying the whole locomotive and selling the drive and chassis on E-bay;

Goggle "So Much Stuff" this guy has just about everything including Proto shells as well as shells and parts for other brands. I know he also sells on ebay, but he really does have "so much stuff" that I would go directly to his website. I have purchased from him before and service is great, even shipped the same day I ordered it and well packaged.

Got a link? Google didn't give me anything that looked relevant on the first 5 pages of results when I searched on "So Much Stuff" and "So Much Stuff Trains." Everything was about clutter and de-cluttering, except when I added Trains, which got a couple links to M. B. Klein's web site. In other words, I tried and failed to find the site you're thinking of.

Sorry! Try sooo-much-stuff on ebay, that should work. For some reason it wouldn't let post a copy of the link.

If you are a Groups.io member, do a seach for HOSwap group. (HOswap at Groups.io). Lots of parts change hands there along with most other stuff.
