Model Railroading > Hauling the JuiceDate: 01/16/21 04:40 Hauling the Juice Author: Pattenburg One of my all time favorite trains was Tropicana's Juice Train (OJT), a unit train of Tropicana products. It started operations back on June 8, 1970 with a departure from Bradenton, Florida for the 1,250 mile trip to Tropicana's facility in Kearny, NJ. Trip time was about forty-two hours. My first sighting of this train occurred back in 1978. Unfortunately, I had no camera with me on that day! Nine years later on September 27, 1987 I got my opportunity to finally photograph this train. Since that time it was a train which I wanted those white refrigerator cars and "Tropic-Ana" smiling faces running on my layout. Seen here is a short and no graffitti marred OJT that is being watched by a father and son as it passes by BROOK Tower. A Southern bay window caboose brings up the rear markers

A Southern bay window caboose ? Date: 01/18/21 07:19 Re: Hauling the Juice Author: Streamliner I really like your layout. It looks very much like the kind of thing I might build--if I had your talent. Very nice scenery. Thanks for posting.
