intermountain f unit couplers ? n scale

I have a couple f units in n scale from intermountain railway that have broken coupler mountings and have tried to get in touch with intermountain with no response.  Does anyone have ideas on other ways to mount the coupler?  Thanks for the advice.

Cut off the old and install kadee box and coupler.  If no screw to mount it, epoxy it.

I have had this happen to several of mine, just sitting in the box.
