Micro Switch Activated By A Magnet

Looking to install a micro switch in the cab ceiling of an HO scale F3A.

I need it to turn off or turn on thru the use of a small magnet.  Similar to what Tangent did with the various light controls on their caboose.

I thought a Reed Switch would work, but everything I am coming across is momentary on/off.

What is the correct name, etc. of what I am looking for?

Look for a "latching" reed switch.

Thank you for asking. I have failed to find latching SPST latching reed switches on line at Mouser or All Elecronics.
TIA for any help here on TO
The attraction for me is that it should eliminate the need for a lighting only decoder on an unpowered piece of rolling stock.

Ditto here. I have some cabooses and passenger cars that need lighting, but I don't want to use decoders and tie up addresses just to turn lights or markers on and off.
