Is this an indication of a short?
Author: TEEKAY

The MRC Prodigy just buzzes when I turn it on, the lights flash between Link & Pilot, and the screen either says "oVLd" or "Svda"

I was using plastor the other day and it was wet...so wonder if it leaked onto the tracks...

Disconnect one of the track leads to separate the base unit from the track. That will tell you which side has a problem.

Doesn't matter which wire you disconnect, you've broken the circuit either way. You've got a short in your track somewhere, our you've got to many loco's/equipment  drawing power. You may be right with the plaster not having dried completely yet.

This isn't a utube thing, this is an inspect your track throughly thing. Give it a day or two for the plaster to cure. You'll be ok.

Edit to say this is a good time to consider a circuit breaker.

That makes me feel a bit better. Thanks. I'll keep my eye on it

Use a multimeter to see if there is a short. Should be seeing resistance of at least 1000 ohms.
