You had me fooled on the Nostalgia Board.   But the bug-free pristine pilot should have been my first clue.  Beautiful shot!

How about a mystery location pic of the MoP River Eagle?  Meanwhile...my wallet lets out a muffled sob.

Nice train but I sure wish someone sold sagebrush that looked like that.

Will both diesels be powered and will they be capable of pulling the entire train?

I have vivid memories and fortunate being around 5 years old visiting my Grand Parents at Clover Creek, Tooele county, Utah watching this yellow streak and steam locos along the LASP&SL.
What a thrill.  Beginning of my life time of following the UP RR.  In a few days now 88.

At about age 10 I visited a friend who had a Lionel O gauge model of this train. I was very impressed. Now that I see this much more detailed model I am even more impressed in my old age!

Very nice, and those prices might be close to what UP paid for the 1:1 trainsets back in 1938 :o)

It reminds me of Flash Gordon space ships from about the same time period...
