That should mean that I would multiple a 9.73 inch piece of kato track by 160 to find out what length that piece of track actually represents.

The bellhop brought the luggage up and then asked, "Would you like me to knock you up in the morning?". She was quite embarrassed, but it was quickly explained it means to get a wake up call (knock on the door?) in the morning.
