NW 8 Door Box

So, I've painted and decaled this car, added extra weight, DW coupler boxes, coupler lift bars (can't see 'em, but they're there), new brass stirrup steps, metal wheels, and good ol' Kadee couplers.  Now that I have this older Athearn model finished up and on the layout, I expect Tangent will release their new model shortly...

As it happens, that NW 8 door box car is one of the few Athearn 86' boxcars I still have.

Those 8-door hi-cube's were interesting. Typically they were used by GM.

If/when Tangent comes out with 8 doors, I probalby won't get many since my focus is the Ford FAST, that was all 4 door boxcars.

A black beauty!  Looks really sharp. Tangent did do the 4-door Greenville in N&W on their most recent release, which sold out quickly.
