F- Unit Friday In Miniature, Rio Grande B Unit In SP Consist

Rio Grande leased SP a few sets of F units in the late 1960s and SP seemed to use the B units a lot on Bay Area trains
with a variety of different motive power. There was one set of solid Rio Grande power based in Sparks used on the Mina Turn.

Cool! PhotoBob just posted a photo of such a consist a few days ago.
There were some great Stein night shots of the Grande F's in Mina years ago.
