Where Did I See That Roadbed Before??

I was enjoying a YouTube video of trains crossing the BNSF Ft. Madison bridge and I thought, "Where have I seen that roadbed before?"

Then, I realized, cork roadbed! I've read that there are those who do not think cork is prototypical but it certain can be.

Not a big fan of cork. In my opinion nothing beats homosote for roadbed - holds spikes well, deadens sound. Great stuff!
