Train 44/54, 1980... in HO scale
Author: rapidotrains

Hi all,

I had some fun with my two-year-old iPhone 11 this week. If you have a newer iPhone, you can set it to 0.9 wide-angle lens, and the built-in cameras put the whole shot into focus. This is great for model railroad videos.

I took this video just by sticking my phone on the layout in a home-made styrene cradle.

Other than knocking over the water glasses, very nice.

Just kidding.

Thanks, Jeff!

I actually never got on or off in Kingston until the 1990s. I just went through it all the time.

Very cool!

(Also cool that a model train company owner is also such a great/enthusiastic modeler)
