Model Railroading > Southern Centerbeams?

Did these walthers cars really exist?  I don't recall ever seeing one.

I think this is the same car.  Not SOU but SOO.

The others I can't see the numbers.  It is interesting that they were numbered in the same number series.  Did the SOU cars go to the SOO?

I think that the "SOU" 601070 is really the SOO 60107 as well.  It shows remnents of the SOO red/white reflective striping.

SOU had some early centerbeams in the 118000 class.
