Ran a 47 car Ethanol train around the California Southern Model Railroad Club earlier on Monday, May 2nd. 45 HO scale tank cars, mainly Athearn RTR, plus a few Walthers 23K funnel-flows.

Two buffer sand-hoppers up front, one Athearn, one Tangent. Power was all Athearn, a pair of ES44DCs (BNSF 7795, BNSF 7717), book-ending an Illinois Terminal Heritage SD70ACe (NS1072) and a BNSF SD75i (BNSF 290).

Oh heck, one more roster of that lime green Ace... NS 1072.

Just under two weeks to go folks until the club's semi-annual Open House festivities in Norwalk, CA during the weekend of May 14, 15 and the following Tuesday evening the 17th!

That IT unit paint really allows the detail on Athearns shell to pop. It looks fantastic. And so do your pic's!

Nice work Robby.  I like your mods to the lead Gevo, one of the first delivered to BNSF in 2005, IIRC.

Great photography and modeling. Imagine 5 is my favorite.
