Don Heimburger of S-Gaugian

Don Heimburger passed away on June 10, 2022. Anyone involved in S-scale knows who Don was. He founded S Gaugian magazine in 1962 at age 14. It ran for an unprecedented 57 years. In 1982 he added Sn3 Modeler which ran for 36 years. His publishing company, Heimburger House produced many railroading books over the years. He also ran Scenery Unlimited, a retail store and distributor. (Similar to Walthers). In 1975 he received the NASG Bernie Thomas Memorial Award. He was one of the oldest members of the NASG. A list of the books that he wrote can be found on the NASG web site www.nasg.org Condolences to his wife Marilyn and the rest of his family.

Always enjoyed his magazines and books that he published. RIP, Don.
