Open House At Carquinez Model Railroad Society, Crockett

Next weekend, June 25Th & 26Th. After this, layout will be closed until Fall for exterior building repainting.
It is a very nice layout with excellent scenery and will be around for sometime as the society owns the
historical building located across from the giant C&H Sugar refinery in Crockett, California.
Attached are some recent photos of varous trains running on the layout and new scenery.

Looks like 6462 has freight duties with the Rio Grande B unit.

Would love to visit if I can get out that way in the next couple of years. I haven't gotten out to my old stomping grounds to show my wife around yet. I'm taking care of my 90 year old mother this summer so hopefully next year!
