Model Railroading > Painting a CMX cleaning carDate: 06/20/22 16:27 Painting a CMX cleaning car Author: SimpleMoMike Thought I would share my attempt at painting and decaling a brass CMX cleaning car. Although it's not UP yellow, I am happy with the results. I have seen others who have painted them black, but I thought I would go for a work train look. Thanks for you looking.

filthy and my rail is spotless tom Date: 06/24/22 06:57 Re: Painting a CMX cleaning car Author: jburek Beautiful work!! My only concern would be what the contents might do to the paint scheme. We use mineral spirits in ours at the club & that could be a problem with the paint job I would think. We also use another track cleaning car called the Annihilator made by Aztec. Does a good job as does the CMX car.
