Model Railroading > Bob Church’s Steam era DunsmuirDate: 07/27/22 11:22 Bob Church’s Steam era Dunsmuir Author: dmaffei Been reflecting on Dunsmuir lately since the environmental clean~up of the old Dunsmuir facility is beginning this summer. The UP will be escalating the soil at the site of all the buildings seen on Bob's incredible Dunsmuir facility scene to decontaminate the soil from fuel. Just wanted to share what Dunsmuir looked like at the zenith of the SP steam era with this fantastic model.

Date: 07/27/22 17:30 Re: Bob Church’s Steam era Dunsmuir Author: dmaffei I took these in 2009 while helping Bob with the Smoke in the Canyon book. I used room light at F8 with a long exposure. It's a true museum piece. Attached is a view of the facility about the same time period as Bob's layout.
