Model Railroading > Rattle Can Canadian Pacific "Tuscan Red" ???

Any TOs know of a plastic-compatible rattle can paint in Canadian Pacific's version of "Tuscan Red" as was used system-wide on its wooden buildings??? Thanks in advance!

I can't give you a match on color, but I would try Tamiya spray cans as the paint in compatible with plastic and almost as good as an air brush in my experience. However, you must sweep the can in one direction, start spraying before you make contact with the model and paint a light coat at time.

Home Depot has rattle cans of Painters Touch 2X by Rust-Oleum. Specifically works on plastic lawn chairs and other material.. Apple Red might work for the rebuilt locos. ACE also carries this brand.

He was asking about the tuscan red used on their structures.

hopefully the OP can look at the various reds available in the 2X line and find what is available..  My point is..2X is compatable with plastic..

But probably won't give a more profesional looking finish as Tamiya which is compatable with plastic and designed for modelers.

And worth it to me as my go to when I don't want to set up the air brush. (I don't have a place for a paint booth either.)
