Model Railroading > Kicking Horse Pass, in N ScaleDate: 08/01/22 05:20 Kicking Horse Pass, in N Scale Author: WrongWayMurphy I just returned from a week in BC-AB Canada and spotted this nice layout
in the Field, BC visitors center. It was not operating but looks to be an operational layout, though I supposed it's possible it isn't and there is no track past the tunnel portals. We rode these actual Kicking Horse Pass tracks a few days before on the Rocky Mountaineer train. I was with three non-railfans so there was no pursuit of trains real or model. I was there in 2008, but somehow missed this. (The layout that is, we definitely saw the spiral tunnels!) We even ate lunch in Field BC.
