Switch point indicator

One of our Sherman Hill Model Railroad CLub members designed these switch point indicators
for manual switches entering the mainline. Most of our switches are operated by Tortoise motors
connect to our Azatrax signal system. So, these fit in quite nicely.

Did he remove the friction spring from the slide switch so that it moved smoothly and wouldn't gap the points?

Yes and the switch is a Peco and snaps into place when thrown.
