Caught this on Vertual Rail Fan at Rochelle.

Graffiti on Virtual Railfan: not no how, not no way.

Not a fan.

This leaves me wondering why is this on the Model Railroading board?

No, he's not spreading graffitti, he's spreading graphiti. It's different!

Some of the "better" ones become MTL production runs.  When they made the "Elephant Toss" boxcar, I had to get it, as I've actually seen it.
As has been discussed many times, grafitti is a part of modern RRs, and if you're trying to be prototypical with railroads as the currently are, there's no reason to avoid it.
