The Southwestern Live Steamers descended on a private track this weekend near Dallas.

Wednesday and Thursday we played switching games using car cards.

Today and tomorrow we run trains roundy roundy. Track is signaled, bi-directional
running on single track with passing sidings.

This UP DD40 is bigger than Dallas

Here is the track plan. Probably confusing but it works very well.

A members 0-4-4-0 Garratt

Columbus & Greenville consolidation pulls a freight.

Most steam engines here burn coal. A couple are burning propane.

TOFC ramp serves as an industry spot. One of the members built this scene and scratchedbuilt the cabover.

T&P trains are popular in this neck of the woods.

This Frisco Baldwin was built by its owner. It has a Tsunami2 sound decoder and a BIG speaker
and sounds just like the real deal.
