Model Railroading > Looking for a detail part

Hi all, I am upgrading an Atlas D&H U23B and I am looking who makes the proper GE style speed recorder where the cable sit on top of the very square axle box, all that I know have the cable in the middle and the box is round shape

Utah Pacific makes them if you can find them.

Both Details West and Detail Associates also make these GE style wheelslip modulation sensors.

See Details West (yellow package) - 350 (aka # 235-350) - You'll need to drill a hole through the tops of these to insert a .010" diameter wire or cable of your choice.  These are in production and easy to obtain and install with a minimum of fuss once you get the hang of pre-spotting and drilling the hole.

Alternatively, look for Detail Associates (brown package) #2808 at that famous online auction site.  There are many listed there.
