Model Railroading > Satisfaction and progress in a logging areaDate: 11/10/22 21:52 Satisfaction and progress in a logging area Author: Jeff_Johnston There's a lot of satisfaction in reaching a significant goal during layout construction. I recently finished with the trackwork, Tortoise switch machines and soon, installing the Frog Juicer for this area on our Sugar Pine Lumber Company layout. The helix is about ready to be boxed in, then it's on to the last major trackwork area -- Fresno, our interchange between the lumber company and the outside world via the Southern Pacific. It really feels good to reach this kind of milestone, and there are likely more to come. The feeling of a job reasonably well done is a big part of the fun of this hobby for me.
