Model Railroading > Clearance checking ...Date: 11/14/22 17:01 Clearance checking ... Author: Jeff_Johnston Now that the logging area rails are down I've been checking some spacing at the landings pertaining to donkey engine placement, per the original plans. There's a spar tree scheduled for where the yellow push pin is located. "A miss is as good as a mile" yes, but I'm going to need to keep an eye on the donkey's extra side roof overhangs and the extra walkway extension. The loaded log cars clear just fine but the tank engine presents a wider profile higher up.
Kind of surprising how large the code 70 rail, under the nearest log flat, looks in this view, especially compared to the adjacent code 55. Jeff www.thesugarpineshop.bigcartel.com Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 11/14/22 21:09 by Jeff_Johnston. |
