Model Railroading > Mexican Centipedes?Date: 01/22/23 16:31 Mexican Centipedes? Author: RRBMail I have been "down-sizing" my humongous HO collection and came upon a Broadway Limited N de M Baldwin Centipede that I bought in a weak moment. Did the N de M run these on freight or passenger trains or both? Thanks in advance!

I would love to see a picture of them in passenger service. Date: 01/23/23 08:20 Re: Mexican Centipedes? Author: BAB BrynMawr Wrote:

Saw pix of some strange looking CC trucked units down there thought they were EMD units. Date: 01/23/23 10:40 Re: Mexican Centipedes? Author: BrynMawr Trying to be more precise. The trains we were on--an Illini RR Club private car pair added to regularly scheduled passenger runs--were all pulled by what I remember as FP7s or similar except for the CHP where we we pulled by FM hood units. We saw a centipede (maybe two) pulling a freight. Carl Caiti did an article in Model RR about them decades ago.
