70s era meet at Bealville
Author: dmaffei

SP 8837 meets Santa Fe 3309 at Bealville yesterday on the La Mesa club layout. Wanted to thank Dave and Tim for inviting a few of us Nor Cal modelers down to run with the club. Now you know what we were testing for at Crockett last weekend. It was fun recreating the trains of our youth.

When you meet a standing train you should dim your headlight past the head end and ring the bell until past the entire train....3 days overhead assessed for the infraction.

Looks like the conductor on the westbound ESPEE manifest dumped the air when his crummy was near the Bealville crossing.   Maybe he went to beans while waiting on the BealvilleAllard siding for the ATSF freight?

No place for a conductor to go to beans near the Bealville road crossing.
