Model Railroading > Rock and Roll Thursday

Here's a few photos of what I've been up to with my Rock Island layout.  Photos 1 and 2 show what the small yard looks like with ballast and weeds.  I still have aways to go but, so far I'm happy with how it has turned out.  Photos 3 shows the completed elevator I had been working on over the summer.  I painted it with Krylon aluminum paint, dullcoated and weathered it up.  I also started putting code line poles along the mainline.  Thanks for looking.

Looking real good Mike. Those pole's really caught my eye and are a terrific detail.
