Very nice. Thanks for sharing. We definitely need more gondola models with variety, as they outnumbered other types of cars at one time.

GUYS...There are a large number of flkat and gons loaded in past years like today, but every layout big,shelf or small youcan always a load on flats or gons....This is a good example of what can do...

It's pretty much the perfect model. Highly detailed but like the prototype nothing flashy about it.

If I recall correctly, this type of load was made by taking small wads of aluminum foil and crushing them into cubes with standard household toolbox pliers.

Easy and effective. Add a little weathering, and you have a nice gondola load.
