Better than the Smoke Pellets

Many, if not most, of us remember the smoke pellets of Lionel Trains. The new fan-driven smoke units with liquid do a much better job of triggering the basement smoke detectors. Here's Lionel #305, a C&O 4-6-4, at the Marine Corps Museum on a past year.

Now if someone would just invent a gray smoke and smell like coal smoke............................

You can get coal smoke smell, I believe, but the smoke is still white.

But with no markers visible on the last car, is it really a train?

There is a flashing marker attached to the end.
