Model Railroading > HO Oregon Railway Supply Signal BridgeDate: 05/30/23 18:21 HO Oregon Railway Supply Signal Bridge Author: wabash2800 I know these are out of production, but does this represent a Pennsylvania Lines West Signal Bridge (disregarding the color light signals on the bridge)? The kit came in two and four-track versions.
TrainCat made the best Pennsy Lines West Signal Bridges, in my opinion, but they are out of production too. Victor Baird Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 05/30/23 18:40 by wabash2800. Date: 05/30/23 18:27 Re: HO Oregon Railway Supply Signal Bridge Author: wabash2800 Are there any drawings out there for the Pennsy Lines West Signal Bridges? See the attached TrainCat Models Pennsy Lines West signal bridge (a kit). These are distinguished from their eastern counterparts with the sheet metal work on both ends of the gantry. I haven't checked to see if they are available on Shapeways but have seen other signal bridges there.
Walthers could make something like this in plastic. Hint, Hint. The PRR is always a great seller. Victor Baird Edited 4 time(s). Last edit at 05/30/23 18:40 by wabash2800. Date: 05/31/23 05:40 Re: HO Oregon Railway Supply Signal Bridge Author: vern Hello, Victor. Here are two at Greencastle, IN. The first one is Limedale Tower, where the Monon crossed. The second one was a cross-over called Almeda, a little over 2 miles east of Limedale. Both are photos by Steve Wyant, looking west toward Terre Haute.
Vernon Sargent Greencastle, IN Date: 05/31/23 09:24 Re: HO Oregon Railway Supply Signal Bridge Author: wabash2800 Thanks Vern. I'm interested in the first one. Maybe I can take more photos and make some scale measurements off of that. I would build them in brass, as have some Wabash Cantilevers in progress already.

It is at really close to a 90 degree angle, so perspective is not a problem. The signal backgrounds are of a known size. That leaves the depth. Since they are a standard design, just getting the depth would at least make a really close fake. TAW Date: 05/31/23 14:18 Re: HO Oregon Railway Supply Signal Bridge Author: wabash2800 Agree. That's what I'm doing with my Wabash ones in progress. I actually made a mockup on the layout to test clearences, etc. See the attached photo.

I'm happy.
