For those that actually read instruction manuals, ignore the typo on page 9 for F4, they work fine.

Thanks for the tip, should be getting mine today. One gripe I have with most of the dynamic brake sounds is they take too long to transistion from power to the dynamic brake sound. By the time you get the dynamic brake whine going, you are already halfway down the hill. I figured out some trick a while back on earlier ST models to make a much faster reacting dynamic brake sound. I will have to check to see how I did that again.

That must have been alarming to see the F4 typo if you had not already tested out that option to hear the dynamic brake sound.

That sounds phenomenal. Can’t wait to get mine. Should be today or tomorrow.

On the 1:1 scale version, you have to work your way to idle, wait 10 seconds, then start working your dynamic brake, just saying.

Thanks Don. Those Loksound dynamic brakes are the best sounding in my opinion

Sure looks like they have DB.
I guess it didn't translate well.

I'd forgotten about that 10 second delay "to allow residual magnetic fields to dissipate" I think was the reason for it.

When I hit F4  with my ACR Bowser SD40-2s it sets up within a second or two. One sound effect missing when hitting F4 is the clacking of the power relays and contactors setting up for dynamics.
