Anyone know the status of the late Ottis McGee's Shasta layout? I was able to attend operations there two times. A fun layout to operate on.

Very nice video and I saw Tony Thompson of the PFE reefers was featured as well.

As it just happens, I got out my Intermountain 3rd run AC12 cab forward last weekend and ran it for the first time.  I did have issues with the lead truck constantly derailing. I noticed there were additional springs provided in the box so I switched out the exisitng spring for a larger one and that seems to have helped.  Now I have to see if it will pull 36 Intermountain PFE ice reefers up a 1.8% grade!
