A new batch of Scale trains SD40T-2's head up the SP Coast line at Surf.  These are the Rivet Counter versions.  Quite sharp.  Performance review to follow.

Nice!  Thanks for sharing.

ScaleTrains N scale tunnel motors really raised the bar.  These are the batch I bought, but couldn't afford to get all sound/dcc.  I'll probably put Lokpilot in the dcc ready locos.

Yes, these are amazing models (I purchased two). Simply stunning! Only (minor) complaints are that I wish the lights were a bit brighter (though they're not bad) and that the speaker had a better enclosure setup as the sound could be a bit more robust (I engineered my own enclosure on the one I purchsed without sound and the sound quality is amazing). Still, ST absolutley hit it out of the park with these!
