It's going to be an online help center/chat, at least at the start, but:

https://www.ebay.com/help/home

type your query into the help search bar and several faq results will come up. If you need to narrow down your query, ebay customer chat shoudl pop up from the help/home page.

You start with help and clicking on your issue. Eventually, it will come up with talk to ebay. They call you, you can't call them. Typically takes 1-3 minutes for the call to come through.

I have been an eBay member since 1998. They do their best to hide themselves from their customers. That also goes for PayPal.

Automation and AI to save on human labor costs...
I wonder how many of us have cussed out a robot on the phone? I know I have. After the bot asking me dumb questions and not helping me, I find that my swearing and cussing gets me a human being to pipe in... The bot must know when you get agitated, raising your voice, swearing and cussing. <G> Or maybe someone is monitoring the conversation? Perhaps it's like the self checkouts that don;t save as money as one would think.
