Model Railroading > Modern SP Caboose [Athearn C-50-8] HO

Sharing a recently completed model of SP 4699, a C-50-8 model caboose now in MOW service. The 'real' 4699 is still in service out of Oakridge, OR and I believe it was recently repainted into a classic SP scheme. Note however the real caboose has had significant modifications to the windows which would require major work outside the scope of this project. 

Prototype photos of 4699 and other similar SP 'cabeese' lasting into the UP merger were used as reference.
