Model Railroading > Tsunami QuestionDate: 06/23/25 10:35 Tsunami Question Author: skokieswift Hello Group:
I am familiar with Tsunami 2 & Econnami decorders and can get locos equiped with either to play nice together (yes, I know, EVERYBODY can!) however I have one loco with what I would call a Tsunami 1 or First Generation Tsunami that I cannot get to work with T2's or Econonamis no matter what I do. Is there a difference between the early Tsunamis and the T2/Econamis and the T1? I want the T1 loco to be programmed to match the later Tsunami decoders and not have to adjust down later generation Tsunamis to match the T1. Should I dump the T1 decoder? Is that the best way to make all these locos play nice together? Thanks, SkokieSwift Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 06/23/25 12:13 by skokieswift. Which makes sense. An Econami is basically a much improved Tsunami 1. Open to any corrections
