Proto 2000 SD45 Wheelsets

In a first for me, I have two (pre-Walthers) Proto 2000 SD45's with cracked or loose drive gears.  They are making the dreaded thump, thump, thump sound.

The Proto 2000 part # is 584425.  Are these available anywhere?  Also, they look very similar to Athearn G19254 or G63835 wheelsets.  Would one of those parts work as a replacement?

Walthers is now advertising wheel sets for P2K replacements.

Those are the older Athearn Blue Box style that the GP's use.  The ones I am looking for are for SD trucks and look similar to Athearn Genesis wheelsets.
