Custom painted and detail Rapido Amtrak F40 and custom sound file

I chose to enhance the new F40 custom sound file by swapping out the old HEP for a new HEP file, thereby increasing the ambiance of the screaming sound. The remainder of the file still requires blending, a task I intend to complete tomorrow. Furthermore, I have finalized the unit number as 298, following an examination of photographs.

Interesting and looking forward to to hearing it when you've dialed it in. I'm thrown a bit though, not used to seeing your loco's without a train load of excellent weathering! :-)

When you get to the horn part, 200 to 230 had Nathan P5a horns, and the rest, Airchime K5LA horns.
Nice sound.

That sounds great. I should upgrade the old Tsunami decoder in my Kato F40 to a ESU chip with a SSS speaker and Powerpak
