Rapido SP Dome-Lounge with Weathering [HO Scale]
Author: east_bay_alex

I finally mustered up the courage to go ahead and weather up this beautiful car. I could not find detailed photos online of the car ends, so some creative assumptions and looking at more modern-day Superliners helped. Some light weathering on the car ends to show dirt was in order along with adding rust and wear to the diaphragms. I went ahead and focused my attention on the detail underneath the car to show some light dirt and grime. Quite challenging with the airbrush with all the nooks and crannies to get into but I'm happy with the results. I am planning to keep this car on my office desk at work for others to see, and would like to put it in a display case.

I'm having some trouble finding a decent case so open to suggestions?

Thanks for looking and feedback is always appreciated.

Nice job on the weathering. Seems like it was always winter when I rode a train.
