I just got a 3D printed truck off eBay and need to know how to prep it for paint
All I know is that it is resin.

Clean up the shell with soap and water. Keep out of the sun and bright lights until you prime it. UV from lights can mess with 3D printed items unless protected by paint. --- Ken

I just wash 3d printed resin items with Dawn dishwashing liquid (or the foamy version) to remove any film, and allow to dry before I primer it.

A good test after cleaning resin for paint is to see if masking tape sticks.
If it doesn't stick well, clean some more.
